Seattle 2008

We strayed from our usual shop 'til we drop vacation and decided to "tour 'til we drop" this trip. We purchased passes at www.citypass.org and visited a different place or two each day. We started out by visiting the Seattle Aquarium and taking a Seattle Harbour tour ferry ride. The kids loved touching the many creatures at the aquarium. They had more on display to touch there than at Sea World or Monterey Bay Aquarium. We were impressed.

The Experience Music Project at the Seattle Center was interesting . . . if you appreciated the 90s music scene. Ryan totally appreciated it.

The Pacific Science Center was crawling with day camp kids, but we trucked our way through the many neat exhibits. One of our favorites were these funky mirrors that made Ryan look like the Incredible Hulk, Trent like Jimmy Nuetron, and Rachel like a chubby chipmunk.

Ryan felt right at home.

Visiting the Woodland Park Zoo.

Yes, the elephant did come that close! It was worth the wait.

Sharing an icey at the zoo.

Cousins! The best part of the trip. Most of the kids are under age 10.

Fireworks on Lake Tapps.

Cute layout! Sounds like you guys had a ton of fun. Just the kind of summer the kids will remember for a long time.
