Isn't it ironic the in Florida in February was warmer and sunnier than any ocean visit on the west coast I experienced in the summer? We went to a beach in Melbourne, about 30 minutes from Ryan's parents. It was about 72 degrees and sunny. Not warm enough to swim (though there were many surfers out). The kids enjoyed the sand the most, especially Travis since he got to play in his birthday suit the entire time (I forgot his swimsuit). We also saw a dead sea turtle, which was pretty cool.
