I love everything about Ryan. Yesterday he played upright bass with the New American Philharmonic Orchestra at the Pops Concert at Weber State. It was an evening shared with 50,000 other people under the stars listening to beautiful music followed with fireworks. The kids and I were so proud to see Ryan playing such beautiful music. Before the concert began a man came up to me to ask if I was related to Ryan. He saw the name "Kilstrom" on the back of one of the folding chairs we brought. I said yes and spoke with Enos, Ryan's former boss. He spent 15 minutes telling me how workers of Ryan's caliber are few and far between and what can he do to get Ryan to come back. I told him I'd seal the deal right then and there if he gave a 20% raise and a trip to Europe. :-) His former boss was impressed that Ryan played in the orchestra, too. He asked if there was anything Ryan couldn't do. Well, thee is only one fault he has: He cannot multi-task. Now, that is one area I am fabulous in. You see, can't have it all. But I still think I do with him. Happy Anniversary!
