We've been busy, as usual. We like it that way! To sum it up, Ryan's parents and their friends came out for a few days for General Conference, Mike came to visit last week for a few days, Ryan ripped out the tree and tree stump and we are buying a new one this week, Ryan's working on his man cave theater (it is really cool), Ryan's been back in concert practices for the New American Philharmonic Orchestra he performs in this weekend, Rachel has had tons of school projects, Trent with scouts, Travis is as active and in to everything as a two year old as ever (yes, he's 5), and I've been busy with school things like the read-a-thon, fundraiser, book fair, newsletter, volunteer luncheon, yard work, shopping for my growing kids, cooking, baking, cleaning out closets, getting unpacking the last few boxes from the move almost a year ago, etc. I'm getting a massage in an hour. Nice!
We sold my treasured van. Yes, the new one has some cool features, but I miss the old one still. My dad bought it and now my sister has it, so at least I can wave to it every once in a while.
My parents held their annual Easter party a week after easter when the weather wasn't snowing. The kids enjoyed playing with cousins and in grandma's huge backyard. Rachel and Trent felt sad they were too old for the egg hunt. Travis would gather eggs one at a time, open them, and eat the items in the one egg before moving on to the next. Rachel and Trent luckily stepped in and gathered more eggs for him. At least he upgraded from a few years back when he played with the drain pipe on the building instead of hunting for eggs. :-)

How nice to be close enough to family to do all those fun things :) Your parent's back yard is the best! Love the chickens. So do they just roam the yard? Our neighborhood cats would probably kill them all!
We have a chicken run with a gate for the chickens to roam in. I let them out in the yard a few hours a day as well. So far they have all survived!
