Each child in our family has had a particular obsession at age 3 with a particular clothing item. For Rachel is was her dresses. She even named them. There was the Candy dress, Grandma dress, Fruit Salad dress, Princess dress, and the NOOOOOO dress (that would include all dresses I forced her to wear that weren't the other named dresses). Trent was obsessed with his Wiggles shirts and anything with a dinosaur on it. Thank goodness relatives caught wind of this and he had four Wiggles shirts and five dino shirts.
With Travis being the easy going kid he is, I thought a shirt phase would pass. I was wrong. He has a complete clothing obsession! We had to move all his clothes out of reach or otherwise, he would try on a new outfit every other minute. He does have a favorite though: his swim shirt (or rash guard). Wears it everywhere. He also likes to sneak his siblings clothes because he can't find his own.

I used to wear the same orange dress ALL. The. TIME. I even remember digging it out of the laundry in winter. My mom finally relented, so long as I wore pants and my snowboots underneath the dress.
Viola! It worked!
