Rachel was a gypsy, Trent was a Ninja (who refused to wear the costume hoodie) and Travis was a karate guy. (Best friend Alyssa is Hannah Montana.) Lacking a nap, Travis wasn't agreeable to dress up at all at first, but after discovering he gets candy for knocking on doors, he thought Halloween was the best. Now, my only problem is taking him on a walk and he runs up to random doors yelling, "Trick or Treat!"
We challenged our family to a $5.00 Halloween budget this year and Ryan and I blew it on black face cream, hat, and magic gloves. We went as an iPod commercial to a party our neighbor throws each year. No one recognized us.
