Mike Gekas was ashamed of us last year when he watched football at our house. Trent came into the room and exclaimed, "Why are those guys hitting each other? Why are they doing that? What are those things on their heads?" Mike thought he was kidding until he realized Trent never watched football let alone knew what it was (same goes for basketball, baseball, soccer, etc). Ryan's obsession with The Science Channel will help mold the kids scholasitically, but our poor boys are going to get pounced in school if they don't become better acquainted with sports.
Thus, we enrolled Trent in soccer. Bye-bye Saturday road trips, hello inner-cheerleader. We never realized how fun it could be to watch little boys kick each other.

Waaahahhaha- you are too hilarious...I'd never realized how much sports can affect your child's social interaction. Just look- I've never touched a sporting team in my life, and look what happened to me? I ended up as a drama geek! Save them! Save them NOW!
