My baby girl turned 8. She celebrated by having a pajama party with her friends and a few days later had her first official sleepover with her best friend, Alyssa. We made a "rule" in our house not to have sleepovers with friends until our kids turn 8, mostly for my sanity. Rachel is excited to get baptized on November 11 and thinks being 8 is great. Now we'll see how long that fascination holds when her first fast Sunday comes up in two weeks.
