If you are thinking of joining the PTA Board . . .

Talk to me first! Gah! I only volunteered to be on the PTA board this year because I didn't plan to work at United Way. But when Brian and RaeDell got their mission call to sunny Florida, we just had to go visit them there. So, I'm working for United Way and doing PTA. I'm in charge of membership. I had no training, no manuals, and the others on the board are new as well, so I've been doing my own thing. And, in the 22 years PTA has been at Adams Elementary, breaking tradition is a no-no according to the sixth graders and veteran teachers. I'll be wearing ear plugs at the next board meeting. I can't handle the criticism. :-)
