Vacation to Washington

We went to Washington for the 4th of July. I failed miserably to get many picutures of the cousins together even though they were inseparable. The trip went by incredibly fast. It was a lot of fun meeting the new babies, Derek's girlfriend Heather and her family, see Mike, go shopping, and the kids loved swimming everyday in the pool, lake, and ocean. However, we missed Ryan's parents who will return home from their mission next February very much!
The 3 thugs -Brevin, Kannen, and Trent. Looks like we got OOC - 2nd generation here. Let the movie making begin.

We need to come out more often. Our kids couldn't remember who Uncle Roger and Aunt Julie were. Here is their picture front and center so they never forget! :-)
Karsyn turns 8!
The lake toys.

We went to Westport with SherRae and her kids and cousin Brevin for three days. Of course it was Jenn's favorite part of the trip (I love the ocean). The Lewis family was kind to let us use their condo. It was great! You can even rent one if you ever make your way up to that corner of the world at http://www.westportbythesea.com/.

Since we Kilstroms can't manage to get in one picture all together, here are 4 pictures instead.

What the boys played when we weren't outside: legos!

View of Washington's tallest lighthouse. It didn't seem that tall . . . so I'm guessing there are tons of short lighthouses in the world.

Dining room with a view of a lighthouse and nature. It was so peaceful.

Rachel and cousins Megan and Kendall chilling out at the dining table.

Something to remember the cozy living room.

Then it was a 2/3 way pit-stop at Mike's house in Oregon for the night.

It started with a quick stop to the beautiful but very hot Shoshone Falls in Idaho. We couldn't get back in the car for the air conditioning fast enough. The sun was a little bright on the eyes, too. Cheese!
