Rachel was baptized on Nov. 11. All of the Ellis side of the family came to support her. She was nervous to get in the water, but Trent and cousin Anna managed to giggle (quite hard) for some reason which made Rachel crack a smile and calm her nerves as she entered the water. Not the most spiritual moment, however, she commented that Heavenly Father helped her feel calm by making her laugh. I guess prayers are answered in many ways! Rachel's best friend Alyssa was baptized on the same day. They've played together since they were 1 and were happy they could share the special day together as well. Afterwards, we went to our ward building and had a chili pile-on and salad and some treats. The cousins had a grand time running wild in the overflow and playing legos.
